Published: 17 April 2025 – Kenya’s President William Ruto has appointed two new Cabinet Secretaries and 14 Principal Secretaries in a significant reshuffle aimed at strengthening his administration.
The appointments were formally announced in a special issue of the Kenya Gazette, dated 16th April 2025, and are expected to take effect from 17th April.
In the Cabinet, Hanna Wendu Cheptumoi and Geoffrey K. Kinaga Ruku have been selected to join President Ruto’s inner circle of government leadership as new Cabinet Secretaries.
