Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has vehemently denied allegations of tribal bias in his administration, counter-accusing his critics of hypocrisy.
Speaking on Sulwe FM, Natembeya detailed his inclusive hiring practices, stating: “My drivers are Kalenjins, the head of my security is a Sabaot, and my team includes Nandis, Sabaots, and every community in Trans Nzoia.”
Natembeya Takes Aim at Cherargei, Mandago
The governor directly challenged Senator Cherargei, asking: “How many Bukusus have you employed?” He also criticized former Uasin Gishu Governor Mandago for removing a Luhya vice chancellor from Moi University, calling it tribal discrimination.
“I will always speak the truth, no matter the consequences,” Natembeya declared, doubling down on his stance against ethnic favoritism.
