In the message, Mr. Wafula is reminded to report to the school staffroom by 8:00 am to issue books to learners. The memo further states that his name is listed among lunch program defaulters from the previous term and directs him to clear his balance with the welfare chairman by 4th January if he expects to have a meal on reopening day.
What caught netizens’ attention, however, was the closing remark: “As you come, don’t forget to carry two pieces of firewood.”
