The National Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with counterfeiting alcohol in Kiambu.
This comes after police sleuth conducted oparation in the area on Saturday 27th May 2023.
Fake Kenya Revenue Authority stamps was also impounded.
The Two women arrested have been identified as Donatha and Grace.
A distilling machine, several empty boxes and bottle top were also recovered.
“On 27/05/2023, a multi-agency team conducted an operation in Gitaru area, and at the homestead of one Wanjuhi, they siezed assorted items including rolls of KRA stamps, several boxes of suspected counterfeit alcoholic drinks with different brand names, distilling machines, and several empty boxed, as well as bottles tops.” A statement by NPS seen by K47 news team read.
Adding, “Two female suspects Donatha and Grace were also arrested.”
