The Kenyan abroad based political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has reacted after Makau Mutua’s remarks on his defection to Ruto’s camp.
In his remarks, hours after Mutahi Ngunyi took to Twitter to declare his support for Ruto’s presidency, Makau Mutua, who is the law professor noted that Ngunyi took about 36 hours channeling Karl Marx in his content.
Mutua: My friend @MutahiNgunyi channeling Karl Marx in the last 36 hours: “It is not the consciousness of men that determines their being, but, on the contrary, their social being that determines their consciousness,” Karl Marx, A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy.
However, Ngunyi, in his reply, told Mutua to accept that the Azimio boss Raila Amolo Odinga failed them and that Ruto might be the saviour.
“My big Brother @makaumutua We must admit that Babaman FAILED us. And maybe his Dream for Kenya is still VALID. But is it possible that he is NOT the vehicle for what Karl Marx called the dictatorship of the proletariat. Is it possible that Ruto is the Vehicle? Trotsky vs Stalin?” Said Ngunyi.
