The memo, which was circulated to various law enforcement departments including Vigilance House, Regional Police Commanders, and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), clearly outlines that more details will follow as the matter develops.

Albert Ojwang’s death, though not yet detailed publicly, has clearly triggered serious legal consequences for the accused officer. The case is expected to attract close scrutiny from both the public and human rights organizations, many of whom have long expressed concerns about excessive use of force and extrajudicial killings by law enforcement officers.
