DCI Kenya Arrests Three Over Government Stores and Fake Firearm

In a decisive operation led by officers from Githika Police Station in Kiambu County, three suspects were arrested for possession of government stores, an imitation firearm, and illegal drugs. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI Kenya) confirmed the arrest of Rogers Okidos (26), Godfrey Ndiba (25), and William Rohara (25) following an intelligence-led raid in Githangi village.

According to the DCI, the village has become a hotspot for illegal activities, including the packaging and sale of bhang. Acting on credible intelligence from alert locals, officers raided a notorious hideout where they apprehended the suspects.

“The suspects were found in possession of an Administration Police smoke jacket, an imitation firearm, 29 rolls of bhang, a rolling pad, and Rizla papers,” a police source disclosed.

The three suspects are currently in police custody and are undergoing processing as they await their court appearance.

The DCI Kenya continues to crack down on criminal networks operating in both urban areas and outskirts, including hubs like CBD regions notorious for illegal drug trade and counterfeit goods.

Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to their nearest police station or via the DCI Kenya hotline.
