Senator on why Gov’t want to legislate EPRA over fuel price.

Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has hinted at making laws to control fuel price release time.

His remarks come at a time Kenyans are eagerly waiting for new fuel price.

Cheruiyot was complaining over the delay in announcing the new price which is usually done on the 14th of each month.

“We’ve never awaited EPRA’s monthly price release as we have to do lately…
“We may even have to legislate the time by which they are to speak, to keep us a bit calmer.” Said Cheruiyot on X platform formerly twitter.

His remarks attracted various reactions from social media users.

@baroswahjr, a social media user wrote: “It was better while we waited. Now we have nothing to look forward to. We have killed our past and are busy killing our future”. Mulili has chosen to advance his agenda irrespective of the cost.

“Hoodwinking ordinary Kenyans that you are part of them and yet yours is fully paid for by the state. Toa taxes, you are a legislator.” Douglas Orangi wrote.
