A Road accident involving Fuel Tanker has happened in NYANJA area along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
At least two people were reportedly injured in the accident
Police officers from Mau summit police station led by Kuresoi North Sub-county Police Commander Judah Gathenge reached at the scene to control the traffic.
The accident, which happened on Monday morning caused heavy traffic.
The tanker overturned in the Nyanja area, blocking and spilling unrefined oil on the highway.
According to police and eye-witness, the fire engine also overturned into a ditch after the accident.
Minutes later, a fire engine was dispatched to clean the highway slipped at the accident scene and overturned.
The traffic covering both sides of the road for almost five kilometers.
Those injured were rushed to the nearest hospital.
