The constitutional Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi says top government officials have been sanctioned by the United States of America over corruption.
In a statement shared via his verified twitter post, the lawyer says he suspects that the current USA administration has evoked sanctions against Kenyan officials.
Ahmednasir noted that both current and ex-officials seem affected according to 2016 corruption act.
“I SUSPECT The Biden Administration has quietly invoked sanctions against a number of Kenyan officials and ex-officials pursuant to the provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Global Magnitsky Act of 2016.” Said Ahmednasir in a tweet.
