The controversial artist Esther Akothee has shared her feelings on what single mother needs in their lives.
In a long Facebook post, Akothee, who refers to herself as “president of single mothers” says as a single mother all you need is a roof over your head, somewhere you can hide your children from adverse weather.
Akothee advised that a relationship to a single mother is an additional and some bonus if you will find a good partner.
She says, as a single mother, very few men will collect you with your luggage especially with this economy.
“It’s easier to date when you have your mess figured out.” Said Akothee.
Akothee noted that it’s very difficult to date when you have yourself all scattered, “hujui unalia mapenzi, rent ,ama Njaa.”
“You don’t even know if you are heartbroken or you are afraid of what is going to happen to your comfort and bills after a breakup.” She stated.
“If you still find yourself homeless at 40 and above after several break ups, come let us sit down and reason together, let us understand where the rain started beating us from.”
For how long will we shift Homes? For how long will men lock us outside. For how long will we be on the streets?
“For How long will we depend on other people who equally can’t even depend on themselves?
Do you know that there are some men who are equally homeless and looking for who to adopt them and share bills?”
