The German Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Amb. Sebastian Groth reportedly paid a courtesy call on the Inspector General National Police Service, Mr. Japhet Koome on August 14, 2023 at Jogoo House “A”.
In a statement shared to the press, Amb. Groth is reported to have expressed his gratitude to NPS for the sustained collaboration, assuring the IG of German’s continued support.
The IG on his part, thanked the German Government, noting their support through the German GIZ Programme towards NPS Crime Scene Management and Training.
The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues touching on bilateral and operational collaboration programs between Kenya and Germany, among them, capacity building, emerging security issues in drug trafficking, terrorism and international deployment of NPS on Peace Support Operations.
