The Siaya County MCA have launched a new underground war against the the county Deputy Governor William Oduol, a day after being saved from by the senate.
They MCA have said that the DG can relocate his office to another country and they will promptly approve the budget to build him an office in a county of his choice but not in Siaya.
Oduol was voted out by majority of MCAs which implies that he’s extremely unpopular with them.
The differences between the DG and Gov’ of Siaya Hon James Orengo have been playing out in recent days.
Siaya DG William Oduol cries out that MCAs have denied him entry into his office despite being acquitted by the Senate where he faced Impeachment.
Siaya MCAs, in their statement, says despite hon Oduol’s acquittal by the Senate, he has been found guilty of charges against him by the Senate’s special committee.
The Ward representative unanimously agrees that they should file a constitutional petition to have him declared unfit to hold office
They also asks Siaya governor James Orengo to stop assigning the embattled Oduol any roles in the management of the county affairs.
