Nairobi-Bound Woman Nabbed With Cocaine Concealed in Private Parts

In a dramatic anti-narcotics operation, a 28-year-old woman identified as Jane Njeri Muigai was arrested after being found in possession of 294 grams of cocaine, cunningly concealed in her private parts.

The arrest, which has sparked nationwide attention, was executed by a multi-agency security team stationed at a roadblock along the Moyale-Isiolo-Nairobi highway. The officers, who have intensified surveillance along the Northern Frontier drug trafficking corridor, intercepted a Nairobi-bound bus from Moyale during their routine checks.

According to reports, the suspect’s suspicious behaviour drew the attention of the sharp-eyed officers. Displaying classic signs of nervousness, the woman was isolated by female law enforcers for a more comprehensive body search — a decision that confirmed the team’s growing suspicions.

To their shock, the search led to the recovery of 294 grams of cocaine, carefully concealed inside her private parts in what authorities say was a clear attempt to evade detection.

The suspect was immediately arrested and booked at Moyale Police Station, where she remains in custody as the anti-narcotics unit takes over the case for further investigation and processing.

Authorities have commended the vigilance of the multi-agency team, reiterating the government’s firm stance against drug trafficking networks that exploit public transport to smuggle narcotics from border points into the country’s interior, especially the capital, Nairobi.
