A 20 year old man is currently behind bar on a suspected robbery with violence as AK-47 recovered, the director of criminal investigation DCI reports.
The details by security agencies reveals that a firearm loaded with a magazine of 30 rounds of ammunition which was reportedly involved in a robbery with violence incident in Marsabit, has been recovered and the suspect arrested.
The arrest comes after detectives raided a house in Badassa village within Jaldesa location and arrested one Gayo Jattani, 20, who led them to a bush inside Marsabit National Park where the firearm was recovered.
“A further 33 rounds of ammunition, police jungle shirt, jungle belt and cleaning kit were also recovered.” part of the statement from DCI reads.
The suspect is currently being held at Marsabit police station pending arraignment in Court.
