A woman, from the USA, has narrated why she cheated on her husband 40 years ago.
According to her, she did so because of the psychological effects of marrying and older person.
She posed a question: “Has anyone cheated on their husband?
She went further to narrate her story, “I did, over 40 years ago. In retrospect, I could go on about the psychological reasons I think I did it back then.
“A much older man, a co-worker, a vulnerable young woman who was in a marriage she really didn’t want to be in…what a recipe for heartache and disaster.
“Promises of leaving his wife for me and dreams of moving on to a better, happier life were pretty strong influencers.
“Actually it was kind of creepy and inappropriate on his part.”
She regrets cheating on her husband:
She later regrets cheating on her partner saying she would have done it another way that wasn’t so cruel for the other innocent, trusting people involved.
“But bottom line, it’s a terrible thing to do to other people and yourself. Of course he didn’t leave his wife, they never do.
“The only good that came of it was I finally had the courage to get out of my marriage and never looked back.
“I just wish I would have done it another way that wasn’t so cruel for the other innocent, trusting people involved.”
