A somber mood has engulfed Irumbi village after a tragic road accident claimed the life of a young Grade 6 pupil on Monday morning. The heartbreaking incident occurred near ADC Church, just a few meters before Irumbi Primary School, leaving residents in deep shock and mourning.
According to eyewitnesses on 11th November 2025 in a viral social media post, the Subaru vehicle, registration number KDL 363K, veered off the road and struck the young girl as she was walking along the roadside. The impact was severe, and despite efforts by bystanders to rush her to a nearby health facility, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
