Gachagua breaks silence hours after Ruto’s call to dialogue with Odinga.

The Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has finally broken his silence hours after president William Samoe Ruto welcomed the opposition Chief Raila Amolo Odinga in order to dialogue.

In a statement via twitter, the first in command detailed that Kenya is a country of the rule of law and that Violence and destruction of property has no place in our country.

“It will never be allowed under the leadership of President @WilliamsRuto now or in  future.” Said Gachagua in a statement.

Gachagua father congratulated Raila Odinga for calling off the Monday planned demonstration and choosing to pursue his issues through parliament.

“I salute Hon Raila Odinga for calling off demonstrations and violence and choosing to pursue  his issues in Parliament in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Kenya. That is statesmanship.”

He further added that: “As our President has stated, the Government remains committed to protecting life and property tomorrow, the next day, next week, and the years to come.”
