Police in Lodwar reportedly arrested four after stealing cash from a locked car.
According to National Police Service NPS, police from Lodwar Police Station and their DCI colleagues intercepted a car described as “a get away” at Sopel along Lodwar -Kitale Highway.
The four arrested car occupants were identified as Stephen Kamire, Raphael Ndeda Otieno, Erick Odhiambo and Emmanuel Okoth.
Police also recovered Ksh 300,000, 4 smart phones, 8 SIM cards and 3 button phones from the vehicle KDJ 496 Toyota Ractus.
Initial investigations reports suggest that the money was stolen from a parked car.
The matter is said to be under investigation by DCI Turkana Central.
