Dp Gachagua return to foot of Mt Kenya to thank God for rain: “worst draught in 40yrs”

The Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has this morning headed to the mountain to thank God for the rain.

His visit comes days after he traveled to the same mountain to pray for the rain.

Gachagua made this known via twitter.

The second in command says he took time to give thanks to the Almighty for His Grace and Mercy in giving us rain after five failed consecutive seasons which he referred to as “the worst drought in 40 years.”

Gachagua further detailed that he prayed to God, from the foot of Mt Kenya, to give us more rain and a bountiful harvest.

“Early this morning, I returned to the Mountain to thank God for the rains. I took time to give thanks to the Almighty for His Grace and Mercy in giving us rain after five failed consecutive seasons – the worst drought in 40 years.” Said Gachagua.

He added ” I prayed to God, from the foot of Mt Kenya, to give us more rain and a bountiful harvest.”
