Deadly accident at Taru Along Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.
Two individuals reportedly died in a traffic deadly accident involving a Mash Poa Bus and a Mercedes Benz trailer, which occurred on 24th, December 2023 morning at Taru Town Center, along Mombasa -Nairobi Highway.
Preliminary investigations, according to police, indicate that driver of the trailer failed to maintain to his lane, forcing the bus to veer off the road.
Twenty other passengers, including them two juveniles who were left with serious injuries have been rushed to Samburu Sub County Hospital.
Lifeless bodies of those who lost their lives were taken at the same Hospital Mortuary.
The National Police Service, in a statement, appealed to motorists to adhere to traffic regulations this festive season to prevent road crashes.
