Controversial Kenyan blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has stirred fresh debate after publicly sharing a warning message he received over his critical stance against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) dated Saturday, June 29, 2025, Nyakundi revealed that someone cautioned him against pushing an anti-Gachagua narrative, warning that he could be quickly “cancelled” by Gachagua’s loyal supporters.

The screenshot shared by Nyakundi shows a direct message from an unidentified individual stating:

“Bro, you will be canceled quick fast if you keep on trying to drive a narrative against Gachagua! It is not Gachagua who will cancel you, but these GenZs… Whoever wants Mt Kenya votes has to go through Riggy G. That is a fact. Hii narrative ya Riggy G itakuharibia mbaya.”

In his characteristic defiant tone, Nyakundi responded that he would rather lose all his followers than be silenced or coerced into supporting politicians he calls “frauds.” He dismissed Rigathi Gachagua, President William Ruto, and ODM leader Raila Odinga, branding them all as dishonest leaders.

“It is better I remain with 1 follower than please politicians’ followers. Riggy G, Ruto, Raila and all of them are frauds. Na mimi sitishiki na being cancelled,” Nyakundi posted.

The tweet, which has since garnered over 121,000 views, sparked mixed reactions online. While some users praised Nyakundi for speaking truth to power, others cautioned him against alienating Mt. Kenya voters, whom Gachagua is believed to still influence strongly.

This bold move comes amid growing political tensions and uncertainty over Gachagua’s future in the Kenya Kwanza coalition, following persistent rumors of a fallout with President Ruto. Whether Nyakundi’s criticisms will escalate into a broader public discourse remains to be seen.

For now, Nyakundi remains unapologetic—and unafraid.
