The Kakamega Governor Hon Fernandez Baraza has today distributed subsidized firm input in Lugari’s Lwandet ward.
The Governor says the ongoing exercise is in line with his effotts to empower farmers and expand food production.
“Earlier today I distributed subsidized maize seeds and fertilizers amounting to Kshs 122 millon in Lugari’s Lwandeti Ward. The ongoing exercise is in line with our ongoing effotts to empower farmers and expand food production.” Said Fernandez Barasa.
He finalized today’s farm inputs distribution exercise in Sango, Likuyani Sub-county by delivering subsidized fertilizers and maize seeds worth Ksh. 137 million, that is, 47,000 50kg-bags of fertilizers and 130,000 2kg-packets of maize seeds.
