The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially reopened applications for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes for the September 2025 intake, giving thousands of Kenyans a fresh chance to acquire hands-on skills for self-reliance.
The application window runs from August 8 to August 22, 2025, and is open to all KCSE holders from the year 2000 to 2024. Applicants can conveniently submit their applications online via students.kuccps.net.
In a major boost to accessibility, KUCCPS has slashed the application fee from Ksh 1,500 to just Ksh 500, making it more affordable for aspiring students across the country.
The minimum entry requirements are as follows:
- Diploma (Level 6): C-
- Craft Certificate (Level 5): D
- Artisan Certificate (Level 4): E
This move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to equip more young people and adults with technical skills that can translate directly into employment or entrepreneurship opportunities.
