The Orange Democratic Movement boss Edwin Sifuna has broken his silence hours after his arrest.
In his statement, Sifuna discloses that he presented himself at DCi Headquarter wher he was arrested on charges of unlawful assembly and taken to Kiambu station for questioning.
Sifuna, who doubles up as the Nairobi senator has been however, reportedly released on 50K bail.
“I presented myself to @DCI_Kenya HQ whereupon I was arrested on charges of “unlawful assembly” and taken to Kiambu Police station. I have been released on a Cash bail of 50K to appear in Court next week. Meanwhile kesho ivo ivo.” said Sifuna.
His remarks comes hours after he noted that the Government want to arrest the opposition chief Raila Amolo Odinga but they don’t know who to send.
