Malindi woman in court after strangling kids to death to become “heroes of God”

The Malindi court has ordered the exhumation of the bodies of two minors believed to have been strangled by their mothers after being starved to death, TV47 reports.

The court was told that the mother intended them to die and “become heroes before God after death”.

According to Joseph Yator, a DCI investigator in Malindi, they were able to save the third child.

Yator also told the court that suspects Isaac Ngala, Emily Kaunga and Paul MacKenzie buried two minors in shallow graves in the village of Malindi Shakahol on 16 and 17 March respectively.

DPP said the rescued child narrated the sufferings his two siblings underwent after being starved for some time before their mother suffocated them to death,

The state pathologist and officers from DCI Malindi reportedly supervise the exhumation of the body.

The area sub-county police commander and area OCS will provide security, exhumed bodies will be examined and DNA and toxicological samples taken.
