As investigations heighten to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of Geoffrey Mwathi Ngugi aka Jeff, the Director DCI Mr Amin on Tuesday the 28th March, 2023 joined the investigating team during the reconstruction of the scene at Redwood Apartment ahead of the scheduled exhumation of the body on Friday, 31st March 2023; DCI reports.
In the reconstruction, the DCI Headquarters Homicide team and Crime Scene personnel from the DCI National Forensic Laboratory reportedly sought to identify gaps that the exhumation is expected to provide answers once.
DCI further noted that the DNA and Toxicology analyses are already concluded.
“As he encourages the investigating team to resolve the case expeditiously and see to it that the rule of law carries the day, the DCI assures the family and members of the public that ultimately, nothing but justice will be served.”
