The former IEBC commissioners Roselyn Akombe has mourned the death of field Marshall Mukami Kimathi.
Akombe cited that Mukami has died without seeing the grave where her husband was burried by colonialists in a diahonarable way.
She hit out the Gov’t that have been in place since independent for note making it possible for her to see her husband’s grave.
“Rest in peace Field Marshall Mukami Kimathi.
“Sad that you have passed on without seeing the grave where the British colonialists dishonorably buried your husband.
“Disappointed that almost 60 years after our independence successive governments continue to ignore the calls to honor Dedan Kimathi.” Said Akothee.
Mukami Kimathi died on 4th May after developing breathing difficult. She succumbed while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital as confirmed by family member.
