President William Samoe Ruto has appointed Martin Ogindo as the Chairperson of Kenya Fish Marketing Authority for a period of three years.
Ogindo who was a former Rangwe MP was appointed in a accordance to a Gazette notice NO. 5655.
This is inline with The Fisheries Management and Development ACT (No. 35 of 2016) section 201 (1) (a) which confers him the power to do so.
“I, William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in- Chief of the Defence Forces, appoint- MARTIN OTIENO OGINDO to be the Chairperson of the Kenya Fish Marketing Authority, for a period of three (3) years. Dated the 29th April, 2023.” Read the Gazette notice.
