Orengo break silence on Margaret Nyakango’s case.
The Siaya Governor James Orengo has weighed in the controller of budgets case.
Taking to X platform formerly twitter, Orengo wrote: “In the matter of Margaret Nyakang’o the proposition by Justice Madan is apt. ‘A prosecution is not to be made good by what it turns up. It is good or bad when it starts’.
“This is bashing and therefore constitutes abuse, vexation and oppression.”
Orengo break silence hours after Margaret is arrested over fraud, conspiracy to defraud a Sacco, false utterance forgery of signature.
Her arrest has raised eyebrows with top opposition leaders arguing that it is a witch-hunt against her for disclosing corruption in her docket.
