The city Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi says kenyans must understand that Hon Raila’s protests aren’t about picketing and peaceful demonstration.
“My fellow countrymen, Kenya is facing an open TRIBAL INSURGENCY that is hell-bent in taking power contra-constitution no matter the cost. Although he tried to go back on it, Raila variously stated his ultimate goal was to remove H.E William Ruto from power and install himself as President the August 2022 elections notwithstanding.” Ahmednasir said in a long twitter post.
“In my view, Raila’s insurgency is the same as those of Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army, Col Sultani Makenga’s M23, Jonas Savimbi’s UNITA, Alfonso Dhlakoma’s Renamo and many other insurgencies that sought to take power in the African continent.”
Ahmednasir told H.E William Ruto that he must smell the coffee and see the reality. “Raila and his financiers don’t want half of your govt…the want the whole of it.”
He remarks that: “the applicable law to address the situation of insurgencies is known to all and President Ruto should stop pussyfooting and act decisively.Raila and his financiers should have been dealt with properly in Oct 2022 but Ruto still has time…and time to act is now.”
Adding: “How can a govt tolerate an open insurgency like the one led by Raila & his sponsor?How can a constitutional democracy like ours not act against persons who openly want to overthrow it. Prof @makaumutua azimio’s shadow AG is on record on this…that their ultimate goal is to take State House.”
