Mudavadi launches a Western Muslim Women Sacco.

The Prime Minister Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, on Saturday 12th August 2023, launched the Western Kenya Muslim Women Sacco at Kakamega Muslim Secondary School.

The move, the PM revealed, is aimed at promoting economic growth in the region while adhering to Islamic Sharia Law principles.

“Launched the Western Kenya Muslim Women Sacco at Kakamega Muslim Secondary School! This initiative promotes economic growth in the region, adhering to Islamic Sharia Law principles.” Said PM Musalia Mudavadi in a statement.

The soft spoken PM noted that it’s a great example of inclusive economic growth and the valuable contributions “our diverse communities make to our nation’s prosperity.”

Mudavadi further extended his heartfelt congratulations to all women participants who took part in the Qur’an competition.

He detailed that the competition serves as a testament to the unity and diversity within our great nation.

“It brings together individuals from all walks of life, across different regions, backgrounds, and cultures. It is a reminder that religious teachings transcend mundane boundaries and unite us.”
