A number of stolen livestock have been recovered in Tandare valley in Laikipia County.
Police says the recovery was a success following a intelligence from locals theat led a a shift pursued to catch up with the bandits.
“Yesterday, a multi -agency security team acted on intelligence provided, and swiftly pursued and subdued bandits around Tandare Valley hence recovering 28 heads of cattle and 24 goats.The animals were positively identified and handed over to the owners.” A police statement read.
Police commended the locals for their support to flash out the bandits and cattle rusting.
“We commend the residents for their continued support in our endeavor to stamp out banditry, and cattle rusting.”
