KPLC vandal arrested with over 1,020Kg cable in Nairobi.

The Director of Criminal Investigation DCI have arrested KPLE vandal in Nairobi county.

According to reports, 1,020kg of copper cables believed to be property of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) were seized by detectives at a godown in Nairobi yesterday, in an operation where one suspect was arrested.

The operation, DCI says, was carried out at a scrap metal dealer’s facility known as Shallian, which is located along Enterprise Road of Gilgil Road in Nairobi.

The suspect, Francis Kaiga, was taken into custody and investigations are ongoing to arrest his accomplices.
