The Inspector General of police Japheth Koome says the opposition chief Raila Amolo Odinga is targeting Kamba community.
“Inspector General ameambiwa atapelekwa mahalo Fulani,… Na sijui Kwa Nini…Mara ya Kwanza alianza na Mumeru Mwenzangu Anaitwa Muthau, Akasema aende Huko, SASA Ameenda Kwa Koome… Sijui Wameru wamefanyia Yeye Nini, SASA imekua ni mambo ya Ukabila… Wameru wanalengwa…” Said Koome in viral video.
His remarks comes barely a week after the Azimio team wrote to the ICC seeking his arrest over police brutality during protest.
Koome is accused of giving order of shoot to kill against the Azimio protestors as well as assassination of the the Opposition leaders, that is, Odinga and Kalonzo among others.
