Majority party leader Hon. Kimani Ichungwah has reacted after President William Samoe Ruto’s offer to have a face to face talk with opposition Chief Raila Amolo Odinga.
In a statement, president William Ruto has said he is ready to meet with Raila Odinga once he returns into the country from Tanzania where he flew for bilateral talks.
“My friend @RailaOdinga, am off to Tanzania for a human capital meeting to harmonise the expansion of employment opportunities in our continent.”
“Am back tomorrow evening, and as you have always known, am available to meet one on one with you anytime at your convenience. WsR” Ruto said it a nightly tweet.
In his reaction, Ichungwa wondered why those who didn’t want to meet president William Ruto months ago suddenly changed and now want to do so.
“Now @WilliamsRuto, Suddenly everyone wants to meet with you , even the one who 11-months ago didn’t even want to shake your hand nor talk to you now wants to & calls you “his President”. ” Said Ichungwa.
Adding: “It is well, some progress. Happy that Baba has recovered from the flu but when did he start working at the Ministry of foreign affairs or as a statehouse spokesperson?”
