Gov’t declare Shakahola land “Disturbed Operation Zone”

The Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration has declared Shakahola land “Disturbed and Operation Zone.
He says the security team will increase their search and rescue mission to save lives.

“The entire 800-acre parcel of land that is part of the Shakahola ranch is hereby declared a disturbed area and an operation zone. The multi-agency security team will upscale the search and rescue mission to save as many lives as possible.” Said Kindiki in a tweet.

His remarks comes as death toll in region rises to over 80 since the search begun.

Pastor Mackenzie’s has been accused of starving his followers to death so that they can meet their maker.

They were then buried in his Shakahola 800 hector land.
