Kisii Governor Simba Arati has told president William Samoe Ruto that Gusii will support his administration.
The Kisii county boss openly told Ruto that even if he scored using a hand he is still the president and he will support him.
Speaking in Nyamira Kisii County, Arati said “…wacha Nikwambie Bwana Rais, tulikua Katika Mchezo,…Na Wewe hata Kama Ulifunga Na Mkono Wewe Ndio Rais….Kwa Hivo we Ndio Rais…Am Sure Hata Kama tungeshinda Wewe ungekua wa Kwanza Katika Maandamano….” Said Arati.
He added “… Kwa Hivo Kwa SASA we will give you the support, As people of Gusii land so that you can deliver to us.”
Arati further detailed that “we” can only have one president at ago…” Kwa Hivo your excellency usipige Sisi Sana tukifanya Maandamano Usipige Sisi Sana.”
Arati tactful hit out at Dp Rigathi Gachagua saying even if Gusii didn’t vote for Ruto as a block, he still got something and although they were in different camp, Ruto was born in Rift valley but he has a home in Kisii. He said the opposition was looking for space too.
Arati offered to speak to ODM boss Raila Amolo Odinga over demonstration.
