Ex Vice president says “Demos are hurting gains made by devolutions”

Former Vice President Moody Awoory has expressed his displeasure in the demonstration called by the Azimio La Umoja team.

In a statement to the press, the Ex-VP noted that he believes the National Gov’t will continue to support devolution.

He says devolution was like a game changer and that it has “helped this country a great deal”.

He detailed that the county needs to collect it’s revenue but some county have very few sources hence depends entirely on the National Gov’t.

“…That means that the county Government must work with the National Gov’t.”.

He said Maandamano should not be there since elections are gone and the govt should be given time to work for the people.
