The Nandi County Senator Hon. Samson Cherargei has vowed to reject a 14 pc pay rise for top Gov’t officials.
The Senator cite hard economic situation in the country doesn’t allow SRC to review the salary.
He called on focusing the energy towards stabilization of the economy.
“The downtown economic times does not allow what SRC intends to do by reviewing salaries of state officers.
“We need to focus our energies on economic stability and growth first.We shall REJECT this set up by SRC of state officers against the public. Hizi story za jaba!.” He said.
This follows after a local publication revealed plan for SRC to increase Salaries for President William Ruto, his Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and MPs
