Radio personality Alex Mwakideu has finally left Radio Milele for Radio 47.
In a statement shared via radio 47 Twitter post, Mwakideu revealed that he doesn’t see himself at Radio Milele again.
He pointed out frustration at Milele FM saying he doesn’t like it.
Despite revealing that he had returned to Milele FM via his social media, Mwakideu has detailed that he needs to guard his reputation.
“Sioni nikirejea Milele FM. Heshima yangu mimi mwenyewe na mahali nimejiweka, hii panda shuka siipendi na pia sipendi kuonekana kama mtu hana msimamo,” posted @Alex_Mwakideu under the hashtag #BahariYaElimu @alikauleni on Radio 47 Twitter handle.
He reiterated that he is free to work anywhere as he is a free player.
“Mimi ni mchezaji huru yaani naweza chezea timu yoyote ile!” He added.
“Lisemwalo lipo na kama halipo li njiani laja … @Alex_Mwakideu amewasili ndani ya PSG ya Radio nchini Kenya, Radio47.” Radio 47 posted.
Mwakideu leaves Radio Milele after five solid years of service.
Mwakideu tweet a few days ago.
“Yooooh! Its been 5 years ndani ya Milele FM. NIME ENJOY!!! Let me say AHSANTE SANA to you, the Listener, because without you, hakuna radio! You are the reason we do this thing called Radio. Thank you all. Page closed. Onto the next one! Guess tunaenda wapi next….”
Barely 24 hours, he made a U-turn and wrote:
“Yooh, bado niko Milele FM. Kumbe munanipenda hivi… aaawwweeee… Thank you for all the phone calls and text messages, we had a small misunderstanding which has been sorted. So we are now good to go! Itambe Milele!”
But today he has made his threat come true. He is officially at radio 47, today being his first days at the station.
