Former presidential aspirant Ekuru Aukot has hit out at President Ruto’s Gov’t over increasing cost of living.
He has faulted Ruto’s claims that his Gov’t has stabilized the country’s economy:
He took to social media to bring to light the missing link between the Gov’t and the reality.
He wrote:
My reflections on matters of our Country Kenya:
The Kenyan shilling falls daily against the dollar. This is troubling. I dare ask: What happened to 16 billion shillings Jill Biden brought for relief of hunger? How come no water or food has been delivered to the North?
Ptesident @WilliamsRuto said that his administration has stabilized the economy. Can someone in the KK admin, at least, deconstruct this for Kenyans to give some hope? The suffering is too much out here and it’s hard to heed the presidents advise that the economy is now stable.
Its also apparent that the presidency has gobbled the largest amounts of billions in just 6 months. Shouldn’t the presidency set an example of austerity measures in the offices for other departments of government to follow?
A friend is totally convinced that the money is instead being used to buy politicians and erecting 15 foot high perimeter walls around state house? There is more concern for 2027 than fix current problems affecting the country.
Aukot shared a video footage of the man of God of whom he directed his fans to listen.
