Form one selection results date set, how to confirm school placed.
The Education Cabinet Secretary CS, Ezekiel Machogu, has disclosed that he will release Form One placement results on Monday.
The CS revealed this on Friday during the 70th University of Nairobi graduation.
Machogu opined that the Form 1 placement results will be released at Lenana School.
According to information gathered, the form one selection exercise was carried out between November 27 and the 11th of this month.
Machogu detailed that the selection will be fair to all the 2023 KCPE candidates.
He noted that the ministry had developed a fair and transparent system for Form 1 placement.
The 2023 top student scored 428 marks. The CS, through the Ministry of education detailed that all candidates with 400 marks and above will be selected to join national schools.
The CS said universities must ensure they eliminate any duplication of programmes in universities and expand to all areas of innovation and research necessary to keep the local universities to compete with giants such as MIT, Oxford, among others.
