50,000 bags subsidised fertilizer, relief food nabbed being repackaged in industrial area.

Police have reportedly arrested suspects who were repackaging fertiliser meant for subsidy by the government along Nanyuki road in Nairobi, NTV Kenya reports.


According to reports, the Regional Police Commander Adamson Bungei the police are said to have nabbed 50, 000 bags of subsidised fertilizer as well as 1360 bags of rice and 200 bags of maize that were in the process of being repackaged.

Bungei says that the Director of Criminal Investigation DCI officers in collaboration with police officers are investigating the matter.

Four workers who were at the site have been arrested and are expected to be arraigned in court once the investigations is done.
