The Root Party running mate Justina Wamae has decried after her safaricom line was swapped behind her back.
She says someone swapped her line without any prompt from Safaricom.
“I have recovered both my Safaricom line and my WhatsApp.
“Am still curious to know how somebody can SWAP a number without PIN prompt on my end.” Said Justina Wamae.
Justina continued “how safe is Safaricom? How safe is MPESA?”
“I was told my ID was scanned and used in this fraudulent operation, yet I have my ID with me.”
Wamae says she suspects someone from Safaricom while accusing Safaricom of failing Kenyans.
“I suspect it was an INSIDE job. Safaricom PLC you are failing Kenyans!!!”
She advised Kenyans to whitelist their line through 100100#.
“NB: The person who had lost 10k in the fraud has recovered their money. Investigations are on going.
“Anyway: Dial 100100# on Safaricom to Whitelist your line for safety.”
