The Narok senator Ledama Olekina has said Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is glueless on who owns the brookside firm.
In a statement via twitter, Ledama noted that he just realized that the second in command is clueless on who owns brookside.
According to Ledama, brookside is nolonger owned by one family as insinuated by Dp warning that we should be careful on what we wish for others
“I have just realized that @rigathi is clueless on who owns what ? Brookside is no longer owned by one family! Neither is Artcaffé nor is chicken inn these companies are owned by foreign entities we must be careful on what we wish for others. We might just piss off a superpower!.” Said Ledama.
His remarks comes hours after Dp Rigathi Gachagua details that the Govt is going to build milk and cooking gas company in an attempt to weed out the monopoly in the market.
It is believed that brookside, whiche enjoy the monopoly in milk sector is owned by former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s family and the gas by Odinga’s family.
