The Orange Democratic Movement Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has said they are keen on how “Luyhas ” in Gov’t will defend Mumias and Tranzoia on privatization that seeks to privatize public entities.
He called out the PM Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula on the same.
He sarcastically called out the former FORD-kenya boss Moses Wetangula saying he is third in command.
“We are watching the so called “Luhyias in Government” on this Privatization Bill. Musalia, Ababu, Nakhumicha have already sold the Mulembe nation out at Cabinet Level. Next is “3rd in command” “papa wa roma”, Didmus Barasa et al. They must not sell Nzoia and Mumias land to Ruto.” Sifuna said in a Twitter post.
Source says if the privatization Of Tranzoia and Mumias take place, it will be the end of Mulembe nation.
“That will be the end of Mulembe nation. Instead of the gvt investing in the said public companies they want to sell them to private firms. If fir instance mumia and Nzoia are sold farmers will suffer since Ruto will use them to repackage and sell Ugandan sugar.”
