The Nairobi County Chief Whip Moses Ogeto was reportedly kidnapped by a gang of Bodaboda who to buzz, Kieleleswa MCA Robert Alai reveals after visiting him in hospital.
“Together with other leaders from Nairobi and Kisumu, we visited the Nairobi City County Assembly’s Chief Whip Moses Ogeto in hospital in Kisumu. Hon Ogeto is also the Dagoretti North ODM Chairman.” Posted Alai on X platform formerly twitter.
According to Alai hon Moses Ogeto got involved in a distressing accident after being kidnapped by a gang of Boda Boda riders who tried to buzz off with hi. towards Obunga slums.
The lead bike in the gang of close to 20 on motorcycles riding on the wrong side of the road got into a Headon collision with a vehicle, leading to serious injuries. Hon Ogeto was seriously injured.
Hon Ogeto barely survived the ordeal.
“We urge the police to hasten investigations into the incident which almost led to loss of lives. The gang leadership must be identified and contained.” Added Alai.
Leaders who visited Hon Ogeto are Hon Odalo, Hon Swaka, Hon Isalambo, Hon Amuyunzu, Hon Kidenda as well as a host of leaders from across the political divide.
