The Nandi Senator Hon. Samson Cherargei has pleaded with president William Samoe Ruto to suspend the constitution and deal with internal terror group.
The controversial senator blames former president Uhuru Kenyatta and the opposition Chief Raila Amolo Odinga on increasing insurgents and anarchy in the country.
The senator proposes that the former head of state and his counterpart should be denied the retirement benefits.
“We need to suspend the constitution for only 72 hours to deal with internal terror groups, insurgents and anarchy perpetrated by uhuru/ Tinga in finality.
“The duo should also be denied state perks e.g. security, official cars, offices and retirement benefits. #mtetezi Blessed evening.” Said Cherargei.
This has attracted a lot of reaction from opposition supporters.
“I am not a prophet, neither am I a soothsayer but get it from me, in between Wednesday- Friday next week we might have the army taking over from this “Biblical Regime”.
“Prepare for an Army to take Over Government for the next 90 days then we shall have elections.” Said Joshua Ayika.
In a cryptic message, the trade CS Moses Kuria had called for the assassination of Raila Odinga.
The Rarienda MP Hon. Otiende Amolo has called the Inspection Of police, and NCIC for not reprimanding Kuria.
