Sudan War: RSF decries agreement violation, betrayal by Ex-regime.

The Rapid Support Forces have decried the the violation and betrayal by the former Regime in a press release on 28th April 2023.

“The military coup leaders, backed by remnants of the ex-regime, have consistently violated agreements, demonstrating their history of deceit and betrayal.”

According to RSF, “despite our commitment to the humanitarian truce proposed by the United States, Saudi Arabia, and other supporting parties, the coup leaders continue to breach the truce by attacking our forces’ positions with aircraft and artillery.”

“These violations,” RSF says “have caused confusion and distress among citizens who rely on the truce to move to safe areas and access basic needs.”

“Moreover, the continuous breaches expose the existence of multiple decision-making centers within the coup forces, an issue we have warned about since the beginning of the crisis.” Said RSF.

RSF called on “the parties involved in the initiative to take note of these violations and work towards a solution that ensures the safety and well-being of our citizens.”
